Description

The BACKENZAHN™ stool and side table, designed by e15 founder and architect Philipp Mainzer in 1996, represent modern design classics and serve as iconic symbols for the e15 brand. Both the stool and the side table are manufactured in Germany and are available in European oak or walnut. The unmistakable form and unique details are emphasized by the use of the core wood of the tree.

The stool with a seat recess offers a comfortable seating experience and is characterized by distinctive cracks in the legs, which develop during the storage of the solid wood. These natural cracks impart a unique touch to each stool. The accompanying side table is recognized as a timeless design classic and shares the distinctive features of the stool. Its flat surface allows for versatile use in various settings. Both pieces of furniture combine functionality with an individual and characteristic style.
