Penumbral no. 48 by Todd Schulz is based on his 48th painting in the systemic art series “Penumbral” (luminescent interactions between colored forms) where he conjoins and aligns four colored circles in such a way as to impart a sense of dimensional interaction. Specifically, this artwork titled “Embrace” aims to convey a feeling of being swaddled in calm stillness amid a cool environment.
