In 1961, Swiss architect, sculptor and Bauhaus-trained designer Max Bill created a series of wristwatches for Junghans that have remained almost unchanged ever since. The 27/4006.02 carries this legacy in a PVD-coated anthracite stainless steel case that adds contemporary depth while preserving the collection's signature restraint. The matte white dial presents clean baton indices and Max Bill's specially proportioned Arabic numerals — each numeral a miniature exercise in typographic clarity.
