Arriving at the birthplace of Bauhaus
Arrival in Germany and transfer to Weimar, check-in at a 4–5☆ partner hotel
and a first encounter with the Bauhaus narrative.

Day 2 · Weimar
Foundations of modern design
Weimar tells the story of how Bauhaus began – with original sites
and early works.
- Official visit to the Bauhaus Museum Weimar
- Guided tour on the early Bauhaus years from 1919 onwards
- Architectural walk including Van de Velde buildings
- Evening transfer to Dessau and check-in
Here you understand the roots of Bauhaus before moving on to the architectural centre in Dessau.
Day 3 · Dessau
The heart of Bauhaus – and your Masterpiece Moment
Dessau is the architectural centre of the journey – this is where you
encounter the Wagenfeld lamp in the original Bauhaus context.
- Guided tour of the Bauhaus Building Dessau (UNESCO)
- Visit to the Masters’ Houses and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation
- Staged “Masterpiece Moment” with the Wagenfeld WG24
- Depending on routing: onward journey to Berlin
This day combines architecture, history and the tangible Masterpiece object into one dramaturgical highlight.
Day 4 · Berlin
Legacy, museums and contemporary architecture
Berlin connects Bauhaus with global design history – from key design collections
to the Neue Nationalgalerie.
- Visit to modern design or architecture collections
- Architectural focus on the Neue Nationalgalerie
- Time for photography, reflection and impressions of the city
- Visit to the Museum der Dinge or comparable design collections
The journey concludes in a metropolis where modern architecture and Bauhaus heritage meet.
Day 5 · Departure
Calm departure – with Bauhaus in your luggage
Departure from Berlin is coordinated with airport transfers and options for extensions
or additional time in the city.
- Transfer to Berlin Airport or onward travel within Europe
- Support with check-out and luggage handling if required
- Optional extra nights and extended stays in Berlin
The itinerary closes in a smooth and coherent way – the Bauhaus experience travels home with you, in both object and memory.
