This calendar presents images from the famous historical Bauhaus photo archives, set up in 1921. It offers an insight into the vast creative range and the craftsmanship traditions of the Weimar Bauhaus.
Gregor Sauer and Andreas Wolter from the Bauhaus Transfer Center DESIGN in Weimar have long been concerned with the question of what relevance the ideas of the Bauhaus of 1919 still have today. Enthused by the work, networking and working methods of the Bauhaus artists and students, they have thus created a small everyday companion who not only archives all your important dates, but also wants to motivate you throughout the year to deal with works of a special time and invites you to record a new contribution - ideas, questions, flashes of genius - in them.
Our hand-made Bauhaus calendars in DIN A5 format are equipped with a very sturdy cover made of black cardboard with embossing on the front, a spine made of red linen and two black flat rubbers - both closure and marker. The 5° angle cut on the lower edge of the calendar makes it possible to place it on the desk, slightly tilted backwards, without it falling.
In addition to a trilingual calendar (German, English, French) in weekly overview (one week per double page), the calendar also offers plenty of space for your sketches and notes.
